On May 6, 2009 we will be collecting a 6-month membership fee (good through October 2009) of $30 from each person and eliminating the $5 monthly donation at our meetings, as we move into our second year in business.

Those paying that fee will be invited to be in our new Membership Directory, which will be complete by May 30, 2009. Fee will be pro-rated, depending on when you join, and due once again in November 2009.

Members are invited to be the monthly speakers at the breakfast meeting, or to recommend a speaker that would benefit the purpose of our Network. For example, we had the two Mt. Shasta City Council members speak with us on April 1st.

We also have 1/2 hour of networking time from 9:30 - 10am, so bring your flyers, brochures, cards and products if you'd like to sell a few at that time.

This very rare lily has a small pink to purple flower that blooms in late July and is shorter (10 - 15" high) than the more common white Shasta Lily. This one was found at the Upper South Fork of the Sacramento River near 4900'.
